Ultrafiltration - Water Treatment

Advanced Reverse Osmosis Technology

Ultrafiltration - A cross flow separation technique used to remove colloidal, very fine particles and macromolecules from a water stream. Pore sizes in a Ultrafiltration (UF) system range from 0.001 to 0.1 micron. UF membrane systems are characterized by the molecular weight cut-off points (e.g., 3,000, 10,000, 20,000, and 80,000 Daltons). Unlike RO systems, UF does not remove dissolved salts from water.
